Had the good fortune to photography the recently completed Union Street development for Sundial Properties and Knight Frank. This is the show apartment which appeared on the front page of The Scotsmans property supplement a couple of weeks ago.

The Show Apartment photography was one of several photo shoots I carried out for this project charting it’s progress and unique design characteristics all of which helped the developer and agent to successfully market the development both online and in print.

Spring

Now that the best of all the seasons, Spring, is in full swing it is not uncommon in our family to hear The Brooklyn National Anthem (of which there are many versions) being recited occasionally to anyone within earshot and more than likely with a glass of something in their hand. Shared along the generations no Spring can pass without it being said at least once as a reminder not to take things too seriously. Rebirth, renewal and a fresh start. Here’s to Spring!

Spring has sprung, the grass is ris,
I wonder where the boidies is
The boid is on the wing,
But that’s absoid as everyone knows the wing is on the boid!

It’s easy to remember too, which is handy ;)

Had the privilege of photographing this wee gem in the heart of the city. It’s fascinating how many people with their particular set of skills come together to breathe life into a project such as this. Hats off to them I say!

Simpson & Marwick Portraits

A beautiful New Town property on Moray Place provided the backdrop for a series of portraits of the team at Simpson & Marwick, one of Scotlands leading Real Estate Agents. The huge Georgian windows offered up fantastic natural light to shoot with and the addition of a reflector just off camera left meant we were good to go.

The Bladnoch Test Shoot (personal project).

Working on a personal project based around different lighting, DIY equipment and post production techniques specifically for products and in-particular glass bottles. Thought I'd share a couple of shots.

I left the cellophane wrap on the stopper as this bottle was destined to be a gift incase you were wondering. :)
